Januari 2018, Inflation of Padangsidimpuan Municipality 0.28 Persen

In January 2018 the City of Padangsidimpuan Inflation of 0.28 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 130.51. Inflation is due to price increases indicated by the increase in the index on some
expenditure groups; namely food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco group by 0.66 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel by 0.60 percent; clothing group by 0.46 percent; health group by 0.16 percent; education, recreation and sports groups
by 0.11 percent and the transport, communication and financial services group by 0.17 percent. While the foodstuff category decreased by 0.15 percent.

The inflation rate of 2018 (January) was 0.28 percent and the inflation rate "year on year" (January 2018 to January 2017) was 2.99 percent. National inflation of 0.62 percent with CPI of 132.10. The calendar year inflation rate (January) was 0.62 percent and the national inflation rate "year on year" (January 2018 to January 2017) was 3.25 percent.
