September 2018, Padangsidimpuan Inflation 0.04 Percent

In September 2018, Padangsidimpuan Inflation was 0.04 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 131.70.
Inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by an increase in the index in several expenditure groups, namely processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.94 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group by 0.02 percent; education, recreation and sports groups by 2.27 percent and transportation, communication and financial services groups by 0.05 percent.
Meanwhile, two expenditure groups that experienced a decline in prices (deflation) were the foodstuffs group by 0.95 percent and the health group by 0.25 percent. While the clothing group did not change.
The inflation rate in 2018 (January - September) was 1.19 percent and the inflation rate "year on year" (September 2018 against September 2017) was 2.88 percent.
The national experienced a deflation of 0.18 percent with a CPI of 133.83. The inflation rate for the calendar year (January - September) was 1.94 percent and the national "year on year" inflation rate (September 2018 against September 2017) was 2.88 percent.
